I see the two points. Where is the slope? (You don't need a slope if you have two poins)

This is all that was given to me and not sure what else to give on the qustion because it states "Find an equation of the line that contains the given pair of points" and the not sure what elseit is asking because it has nothing else there.
Now it makes sense. Two points are given only. There is no slope given. In your problem you have mentioned slope, and it got me confused.

the answer is y=x+1
