If the roots X1 and X2 are equal, then D=0. Using the formula, X1=X2=(c-b)/(2(a-b)

(a-b) x^+(b-c)x + (c-a) = 0 This equation has root that equals to 1.

1=(c-b)/2(a-b)

c-b=2(a-b)

c-b=2a-2b

c+b=2a
