Rewrite to see what we have

  5  + 3b^2

6ab   14a^3

Find a common denominator:

6ab = 2*3ab

14a^3 = 2*7a*a^2    2a is common.  Then get the leftovers.

2*a*3*7*b*a^2 or 42a^3b

5(14a^3) + 3b^2(6ab) = 70a^3 + 18a b^3

       42a^3b                          42a^3b

= 2a(35a^2) + 2a(9b^3) = 35a^2 + 9b^3

        42a^3b                           21a^2b
