Question: (M^2-3m-7)/(m+2) Dividing polynomials. Long division.

             m  -  5
(m+2) ) m^2 - 3m - 7
            m^2 + 2m
                    - 5m - 7
                    - 5m - 10
                               3

So (m^2 - 3m - 7)/(m+2) = (m+5) with remainder = 3
