Question: whats the ratio of 1420 to 3550 ?

1420 = (2^2)*5*71 = (2*5*71)*2 = (710)*2

3550 = 2*(5^2)*71 = (2*5*71)*5 = (710)*5

Take out common factors giving a ratio: 2/5
