x - (0.0765x) + 5200 = 100,000

x - 0.0765x = 100000 - 5200

.0235x = 94800

X = 94800/.0235

x = 403404.6

yes, thank you I was missing a leading 0.  This is corrected now.

Is this missing a 0?

Second line should be

x-0.0765x=100000-5200

right?
x - 0,0765x = 5200 = 100000

0.9235x = 94800

x = 94800/0.9235

x = 102653
