Solve the following system of equations. Express your answer as an ordered pair with the format (a,b) with no spaces between the numbers or symbols.  2x+7y=-7 -4x-3y=-19  For my answer, I got (-10.82, -2.09), is this correct? If it's not, could someone please point me in the direction of what the correct answer is or how I could go about finding the right answer?

Question : Solve  19.

2x+7y=-7    ---- (1)
-4x-3y=-19  ---- (2)

double (1)

4x+14y=-14  --- (3)
-4x-3y=-19   ---- (4)

add (3) and (4)

11y = -33

y = -3

back substitution gives

x = 7

Answer: (7,-3)
