I have to solve this equation for hw but I don't know what to do with -75 and x

75-x=-95

put a -75 under the positive 75 which cancels the 75 out so u can just cross them out ,but anything you put on one side has to go on the other side. so put the -75 under the -95 and solve. that number is your answer because there is only one x.

no wait you said -75! so u would put a positive 75 to cancel it out. then put it on the other side so that would make 20. so x is 20. so sorry!
