what is 43750 coverted to base 5

5^6 = 15,625   2*5^6 = 31,250    (leaves 43750 - 31,250 = 12,500)

5^5 = 3,125    4*5^5 =   12,500   (leaves 12,500 - 12,500 = 0)

So in base 5 notation, 43750 is 2*(5^6) + 4*(5^4) or, 2040000
