(z^2 -11z+30) / (z^2 + 4z -45)   factorise top and bottom

(z - 6)(z - 5) / (z + 9)(z - 5)         cancel the common term, (z - 5)

(z - 6)/(z + 9)

In lowest terms, the expression becomes: (z - 6)/(z + 9)
