2h-(1/10)=5/8
what is h?

2h - (1/10) = 5/8
2h = 5/8 + 1/10

We need a common denominator for the fractions.

2h = (5/5)(5/8) + (4/4)*(1/10)
2h = 25/40 + 4/40
2h = 29/40
h = (29/40) / 2
h = (29/40) * (1/2)
h = 29/80
