27 = 3^3 9 = 3^2

(3^3)^2x = (3^2)^(x - 3)

3(2x) = 2(x - 3)

6x = 2x - 6

6x - 2x = -6

4x = -6

x = -6/4 = -3/2

27^(2x)=9^(x-3)

Get the same base: (3^3)^2x=(3^2)^x-3

Set the equation equal to itself: 3(2x)=2(x-3)

Distribute: 6x=4x-6

Simplify: 2x=-6

Solve: x=-3/2
