can someone show me step by step fraction 6/8+6/10=

to add or subtract fractions you need to get a common denominator, the bottom number.

8 = 2*2*2

10 = 2 * 5   there is one 2 common so take that 2 and the rest of the numbers and multiply them

2 * 2 * 2 * 5 = 8 * 5 = 40  Now multiply both numbers to get the 40 on the bottom.

6*5/40 + 8*6/40 = 30/40+48/40 = 78/40 reduce to mixed number 1 38/40 reduce the fraction 1 19/20
