12 = 2 * 2      * 3

24 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 3

82 = 2 * 41

there is a common factor of 2.  You mulitply the rest of the factors time 2.

LCM = 2 * 41 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 3 * 3 = 5904
