wat is the answer for y=3x-8
i want to learn more

There is no single answer. The equation represents a straight line.
When plotted on a graph, each value of x on the line gives a unique
value for y. You can show that by inserting a number into the equation
in place of x, and solve the equation to arrive at a value for y.

Set x equal to 7.
y = 3x - 8
y = 3(7) - 8
y = 21 - 8
y = 13

Set x equal to -19.
y = 3x - 8
y = 3(-19) - 8
y = -57 - 8
y = -65

Set x equal to 0.
y = 3x - 8
y = 3(0) - 8
y = 0 - 8
y = -8
