What is the leftmost x-intercept and the rightmost of 2x^2-3x-14?

2x^2-3x-14 = 0 set the equation equal to 0 to find the x-intercepts.

(2x -7)(x + 2) = 0

2x - 7 = 0 or x + 2 = 0

2x = 7  or x = -2

x = 7/2 or x = -2

right most is x = -2, left most is x = 7/2
