Can't remember how to help my kid answer this
math problem...it has been a looooong time!

Re-write using improper fractions.

47/9 + 13/6 =

Convert to a common denominator, 18.

(47/9) * (2/2) + (13/6) * (3/3) =
94/18 + 39/18 =

Now, add the numerators.

(94 + 39)/18 = 133/18

133/18 = 7 7/18
