3/x-4=16 please solve

3/x - 4 = 16
3/x - 4 + 4 = 16 + 4
3/x = 20
(3/x) * x = 20 * x
3 = 20x
3/20 = (20x)/20

x = 3/20

No doubt, you are wondering how x can be so small.
Examine the first term in the problem, 3/x. This is
3/(3/20). To divide by a fraction, invert the fraction
and multiply. That makes it 3 * (20/3). The threes
cancel out, leaving 20. Subtract 4 from that and you
have 16, the right side of the original equation.
