Well, you begin at 6:05. work till 1:05, You work 7 hours. lets just say you took all 50 minutes of this break right now. so 1:05 +50 minutes is 1:55. that means you have to work another 20 minutes to finish your shift. therefore, youve worked 7 hours and 20 minutes, or 7 hours

2:15pm=14:15 (14:15-6:05)=8hrs and 10min or 8hrs.
