AB=3x, BC=2y+16, AC=60,

AB=BC so 3x=2y+16

AB+BC=AC so 3x+2y+16=60

2(2y+16)=60

2y+16=30

2y=14

y=7 since 3x=2y+16

3x=2(7)+16

3x= 14+16

3x = 30

x = 10
