i do believe and is used to mean multiply (not sure)
(3*1/3)/(5/6)
3/(5/6) multiply reversing one of the equations (1/6)/(2/5)= 1/6 / 5/2 <-- example
3*(6/5)
(3*6)/5
18/5
3.6
or it could mean add (not sure again) but ll show how to do both
3+1/3/(5/6)
(4/3)/(5/6)
(4/3)*(6/5) multiply reversing one of the equations (1/6)/(2/5)= 1/6 / 5/2 <- same example
24/15
1.6
i used brackets to separate and make it easier to read, they don't really mean anything in this instance.
