distance=speed times time, so time=distance/speed.

His jogging speed is 2w where w is the walking speed.

So 9/(2w)+1.5/w=2.

Multiply through by 2w: 9+3=4w, 4w=12, w=3mph, his walking speed. So his jogging speed is 6mph.
